dear sirs, I am a single mother of one 16 year old son. I am also a recovering alcoholic and drug addict that has been clean since April 31 of 2007. It is only by the grace of GOD that I am alive after 25yrs of active drug use. However be it as sad as it is true the mistreatment of my body has really let me know how cruel I have been to it by the breakdown of my physical and emotional health. I am currently staing with a 90yr old woman who has become a very close friend to me. I would love to show my appretiation to her and my wonderful 16yr. old son by cooking them a Thanksgiving meal however I am currently pendidg for social security/Disability and I have no income to purchase the food necessary. Are there any outreaches in Davenport Ia. that are doing baskets for those in need? 563-323-3277 is my phone # any sort of help is better than none
